Priced at $645, the Sport II is the lightest ever Sports Series HANS Device. It follows in the tradition of the Sport I by making the same protection enjoyed by champions in major series around the world available at a reasonable price.
"Too often racers think it’s only the guys who go 200 miles per hour who need a head restraint,” said Gary Milgrom, vice president of HANS Performance Products. “Our Sport Series is designed to make sure the weekend warrior can get the same protection as Jimmie Johnson, Larry Dixon or Dario Franchitti at an affordable price."
The curved back also offers a lower profile making it less likely to catch on the car when entering/exiting.
